lincolncentguy, I already have a 8166 Dansco complete with BU coins from Mints sets.
I have just been putting all the proof halves that I find in a roll. Over 2 rolls so far. Going big this week with 18 boxes! Going to be fun!

What color rolls do all of you get.?
I have been getting yellow flat boxes lately and every one of them has been nothing but junk.

bishftl No, that looks like corrosion to me. The ones I found are all proofs and blackened on one side or around the edges. Here is a 1996s I found. It is blackened on both sides. it was darker but I cleaned it up a little.

Quote: I'd bet a dollar to a donut that coinstar is checking for silver. Extra profits for them. Might be true with machines in banks (where they don't get their 9%), but I've seen reports where grocery store machines reject silver.

biggfredd Good I hope coinstar does reject silver, some person will have to spend it and it will get back in circulation where some lucky person will find it hopefully. Whats with the 9% at the bank machines will you elaborate on that please.

was talking with an uncle of mine today about half-dollar roll searching. He said he is in good with a person at his bank that controls the vault. He is an old time commercial customer with a big accounts, he said the person he knows asked him last month if he wanted any Franklin halves, he asked "how many do you have" and she said "forty rolls", he took them all! He is going to show them to me next time I visit. What a haul! makes me salivate just thinking 'bout it. If I can get pics will post them.
