new members email is not activated so it would be best for you to keep the conversations on the forum, there is no way for a member with the amount of posts starlight has to email any other member

Thank you Brian.
Wrestling, if you are good at riddles: there are mtns that share the beginning of their name (4 letters) with an Indian princess, there was only 1 of her and she didn't live in my state. She never watched the movie Frequency so she couldn't forsee the tag on little chief's friend's car at the end. Solve this and you can find me. I'll be buried under my halves.....lol. Just kidding.

The messaging functions of this forum are pretty useless(unless your a moderator or been here forever). I tried to message someone and was treated like a troll. This is a wonderful community but I wonder how many people end up leaving before they figure out the value of the wonderful members here. I was pretty close.

Ok. Thank you for your reply Owassokie. I have no plans to leave.... it's just getting to be such great fun! Having a hobby is nice. But having a place to share the finds and learn from others is awesome.

I hobble around on here trying not to knock over too many tables....lol.

Eagerly anticipating my upcoming halves project! If somebody had to try why not me? I will be happy to keep everyone updated on how it goes. My godson keeps asking me not to forget to let him help. Standard reply, after your homework is done and all the chores your mom assigned you. Never make another mother angry! Lesson number 1! He loves his collections we started but the sheer number of coins we will be searching has us both a little bit giddy!

PS: I'm glad you decided to stick around!

How are you planning on getting all those boxes home Starlight I believe each box weighs around 25 pounds and times that by 57 you have 1425 pounds. I dont even know how much cargo space that would take up. You have to take some pictures of the wall of halfs when you get them. Awesome.

Coindog, I believe he is buying 3 at a time, searching, then dumping and going back.

1Starlight....one concern I have.....if you pick up $10,000 or more of coin in a single day from a single branch you will have to fill out a federal tax form due to regulations of large cash movement. You did mention that you told your banks you would be paying in cash. If the feds then look at your account due to these transactions it MAY to them look like you are laundering money. Be warned....keep it UNDER $10,000 a day! Trust me, you don't want the feds looking in on you.

I opened a new direct deposit @ a new bank w\the understanding that they would order boxes for me. I got my first one last week & asked the teller to order another. This week they forgot to order it. I hope it was just an oversight......
