Yes. have funds to buy and process 4 boxes at a time until all 57 are picked up. I have my buy bank branches and my dump bank branches with their free coin counters. They are in a business district so they are used to getting lots of change.
Checked with my buy bank and they said just bring a Bank certified check from my other bank that is made out to myself for deposit and then pick up the coins within our agreed upon time frame once they come in.
I told the lady tellers that some guys told me it couldn't be done. They said, 'well, we'll see about that, just let us know how we can help!" along with a co-conspiritorial wink.....lol. So, as of today, I now have all the women tellers on my side and there is only one male teller (who was brave enough to wear pink today...lol). Odds are, they'll make him help me carry my bundles of boxes out....lol. All in good fun fellas. Just want to see what happens. Sometimes us women have a bit of a competitive streak too....lol. But seriously, all in good fun. No offense meant to anyone whatsoever.

I will be awaiting the results of 57 boxes.

On a side note, I went back to Capital One today to buy the remaining $50 in halves to see if my luck would continue. Result = Pepe Le Pew.

That's okay with me, because 22 halves (20 at 40%, 2 at 90%) in two days is okay with me.

The true total is actually 69 boxes. 12 this Thursday and then the 57 next week....lol. I'm sure that I will never forget it either.... just like some of those days at the Post Office years ago where I sorted almost 2 whole routes and then had to deliver 1 whole route plus half of another. Those days were 12-14 hours. A different sort of marathon but never forgotten for as long as I live. My body still has the damage and aches to prove it but at least I still get my retirement pay too (albeit very reduced until I reach my full retirement age in a few years down the road).
I have a couple of coin albums with blank pockets that each hold 60 coins total. Also have the mylars to encase any of my keepers in.
I met a wonderful older woman who is head teller at one of the banks I checked for halves today. She is searching too. She has found 2 Peace dollars worth $100+ each in just the past two weeks. As soon as I asked for halves she started telling me what all she has been searching for and her recent finds. She even quoted (124) Not Allowed - Auto-Removed to me in case I didn't know.
A female security guard at a Bank of America mentioned that she likes to collect the IKES for her 4 grandchildren so I kindly let her have 4 of mine from today for face. I was just glad to see her presence there and grandchildren too, well, I just couldn't resist. She's working a dangerous job and driving a crappy car, hoping for a better life for those 4 little grandkids. Her warm, sincere ear to ear smile was enough to make my whole day!
Oh, and I forgot to mention, I scored 10 1979 SBA's. Two Denver. The rest Philly.

Now I would not say that I'm the king of such a thing, lol. Did you read my post on page 582 of this section? That right there was beginner's luck, and I think I'm just in the right place at the right time sometimes. I have been spending more time with nickels, but I do occasionally double check to see if they have halves.

Congrats Dan! I have yet to score silver that way. The wait is quietly dwindling down.... I still hate to wait...lol.... but I have been very busy anyway. My help is still very excited about sharing in the sorting. The help has been getting pizza this week courtesy of my wallet....with more promised on the completion of the project. My godson has a an empty cavern for a stomach these days as he is going through a teenage growth spurt.

Am thinking that my 14 megapixel camera will work for general shots during the process. Don't have anything fancy but it should be sufficient. My supplies are ready for Thursday. Just trying to keep my mind calm enough every night as it gets closer.

Thank you all for your encouraging words. Hopefully I can get enough of the right pics to share some coin eye candy with you all very soon.

The woman who found the Peace dollars is the head teller at her bank. She found one as she was emptying the coin counting machine. The other one was in a teller's drawer that she was counting. she traded out a dollar for each one as that was the face value.

My best wishes to you jizer1. Hope you get some great coins on the other 11! ;)
