Box 14 and 15

Box 14 Skunk

Box 15 Skunk, but 2004, 2006, 2007 NIFC and
some nice regular dates, like a 1988 keeper.

I could tell as soon as I opened the boxes it was
probably gonna be crap; they looked too uniform in color to be anything good. All the same miserable dates we all pretty much chuck: '71, '74, a million '76, '96, etc...It's real disappointing when you have to wait 3 weeks for them and practically beg to get them.

Here's what boxes we get on the East coast, BOA.
Pretty sure it's loomis?

Those Loomis boxes seem to produce decent results. Have you checked the ends of the rolls for silver?

Those are the exact same boxes that I get in Maryland from BoA. I've had pretty decent luck with them.

Oddity today in that my bank teller, who orders my boxes, said they order from Brinks.

They order from Brinks but I get the yellow-and-white rolls which many here think are Loomis.

If this is the case, then my first two boxes were decent and my second two boxes were skunks for the most part.
I am hoping I am not going to run into the terrible reports I have been reading about Brinks.

Can it be that Brinks delivers Loomis rolls?

Here is a quote from Loomis web site

Quote:
Loomis offers a comprehensive solution for coin services throughout much of our national service network. In fact, we serve as Federal Reserve Coin Depots in 40 locations, enabling us to provide the most stable and reliable coin services in the industry and, in most cases, help you reduce inventory. We offer complete processing services including sorting, wrapping, storage and of course delivery.

Another I found on the net.

Quote:
When I inquired, my friend (teller) told me there was a company, forgot the name, that she placed the coin/currency order with, and it wasn't a courier company,(it was a vault company) ...then the courier company would deliver, so it led me to believe that the banks don't call up the courier company to order, the courier company just delivers, and this would make sense, because I marked some dumps recently and returned them to another bank that uses a different courier than the bank I use to order with, and I got back some of my dump coins, so that meant that 2 different courier companies were involved, and I still got back some of my dump coins

I have to agree with this because I have marked coins that I got from bank (A) dumped them at bank (B) and got them again at bank (C). I did this in different combinations ABC, BCA, CBA, ETC. ETC. and got the same results.
If I did 10 to 20 thousand in a week it just seemed to get worse. I was just recirculating the coins as one bank teller put it to me. What I do not know is how to get at those boxes at the back of the shelf or deeper in the vault as on poster on here put it. One courier driver told
me it goes through several hands before they see it. So maybe it does come from federal reserve depots such as Loomis
and they service all the couriers.?
As I said before I think a lot of it is just plain old luck.

Here are my best finds out of my first four boxes ever. The one that I am taken by
is the bicentennial with an normal front but no back. I think I found it in my second box.

As noted before, all rolls were machine wrapped and in new, sealed boxes. - (Kenscott)

Thanks for the information. It could well be that Brinks is delivering Loomis
coins here in the Western NC area.

I am hopeful that my upcoming three boxes on Thursday are as good as my first two
and nothing like my second two.
