thanks, Chuckster

I really appreciate the information. I don't believe there's any silver. But I will check them. The bicentennials are the most confusing. Especially when I heard that some of the proofs are not mint marked.
Rest in Peace

Found 4 walkers in a roll from one of my weekly boxes today, I was psyched! I hadn't seen one in months. A 1941, two 1943, and one 1945.

Should have two more boxes this coming Thursday. I may add a box of dimes to the mixture if Tina (the head teller) will order them for me.

bman...that's what I'm thinking is happening to me. I go from steady silver never going more than a box or two. Now I'm at $5500 without a single piece of silver. Starting to get discouraged. I have my normal 1 box Tuesday and 3 box Thursday this week. In the mean time, I've started playing with some nickels which is a good change of pace.

On a the related subject of dumping, let me tell you what happened to me this past week.

While I was speaking to a representative about another banking related issue, it just so happened that Tina (the head teller) popped into the room and told me what she had done. She said another person, not a customer, asked if she had any half dollars and she said he had plenty. She knew I had returned them and said she felt a bit bad about giving him those I had already been through.

I told her that if he was a true searcher, there was a good chance that some DDs might be present as well as some other collectables (which is true). I just got my Cherry Pickers Vol. 2 guide this past Saturday and thus only tended to search for silver, proofs, or other nice uncirculated coins.

Penny4me,

the only good of starting a new thread would be not having to scroll down to the current page, since I started looking at this thread, that is all I do, maybe go back a page or two if I missed something. I say leave it as is, you wouldn't read the earlier pages of this thread if a new one was started so why not pretend that the current page is the new thread and go from there?

Monks and Owwass, I actually added a third source to my repetoire about 4 months ago in the hopes that some variety would give me a way around some dump patterns I'm seeing. Now, I'm just dealing with dumps at three different sources. I know they use at least two different carriers and can tell in the patterns I see that there are two batches I'm pulling from, not three. Beginning to think my silver run has come to an end and it may be time to give it a break for a few months.....someone motivate me... before.......I......

Well Bman et al. Here is some motivation.

I got my weekly boxes from the bank and opened up the first box. I immediately saw the ender Franklin! I finished that whole box and got 5 Walkers: 40s 2x 42, 45d and 46d . On top of that, I snagged the 1953d end, a 1969S proof silver, and 6 40%. .

I'll try to post pics tomorrow when my cell is charged (Im bad with pictures)
