I have two boxes coming this Thursday. I have not thought, but maybe I should ask other banks in the area if they might order some as well. If they use Brinks, I will probably just do as well to have different branches of my current bank to order.

Dropped off some coins and asked if they had anything cool. The teller handed me a $20 dollar roll of halve (I've never seen one of those before) and sure enough it had a 40%er. But the big score was the 18 Ikes I managed to score from two banks. One teller was saving a bag of 25, but she let me have some, and then the guy came in right behind me to get them. Oops

Lol, jizer. Kenscott, definitely try several banks. I'm in the northeast, and I use 3 different banks to get boxes, and several others to dump. So far it's working out well!
M0nk, I would die if that happened to me! But, hopefully it'll work out in your favor, and he'll get 3 crappy boxes, and you'll get the good ones! I would think 2 people working a bank should empty out the bank's newer boxes and get down to those old, dusty boxes underneath with all the old, dusty SILVER halves!

Does anyone know how the Brinks system works for coins? Are there regional offices which roll coins from a region or do they get theirs more from the Fed's banks?

I would be interested in learning if anyone can shed some light on this.

Hi all! Last weeks 2 box pick up was a total skunk. Today's 2 box pick up was much better.

For today:

JJ650,

Good hall there but all means. Those are the boxes you live for but I haven't found one or two quite that good yet.

Congratulations.

Today as I went to a bank pick up the rest of some cwr's where I found a 64 quarter I saw 3 lonely silver halfs on the teller's tray so I asked for it and end up with 64,65 and a stoning gem 67 better then my last dozens of skunked boxes ! Now I know for sure that the silver halfs dont make out of the banks in my area the reason why I never found a walker on boxes !

Gotta love fresh banks with customer rolls and they look at you crazy when you ask for 10 dollars in pennies that means not very many people come and ask for rolls of pennies. What do y'all look for when roll hunting pennies.
