I can't believe that I have back-to-back positive experiences to report with halves. I just picked up my box from my normal BOA. This is the place I've cut back from 4 to 2 boxes. Today I just told the teller to not bother ordering my Thursday box. I get out to the car and decide to open a couple before I go back to work. First roll...silver 40%. I ended up opening half the rolls and edge searching. I'm so rusty on seeing silver in rolls that I missed a 90% ender with the reverse showing. Couldn't believe it when I opened the roll and realized it was on the end. So my total so far is two 1964's and four 40%ers. Oh, and tonight is one of the rare nights I don't get to go straight home after work...I have a kindergarten graduation 2 hours away from home. I just want to be home opening those right now...lol.

I forgot to mention that I walked back in to the bank and told the teller to order me 2 boxes for Thursday :)

I just finished my third silverless box. BAH! I hate that I am so obsessed with this. I will be getting another box tomorrow. I did find a really nice '76, and a '71 with a die crack I think.. I will need to get my loupe to be sure. I will post pics if it turns out to be interesting.

Picked up $20 in halves from my local BofA while getting a box of pennies and found 8 40%ers. Went back this afternoon and grabbed the other $50 they had. Total score - 15 40%ers :)

I like to hear that the rest of you are having such great luck here. I only wish I had some coming my way.
It is depressing to see so many finally doing well and my searches running into a brick wall. This being said, I hope you continue to have good finds.

Finished the other half of my box last night. Didn't find any more 90% but found 7 more 40%ers. My box total was:
1964 x 2 1967 x 6 1968d x 1 1969d x 4
Found 2 that look interesting and plan to check for errors.

So I have ventured into purchasing half dollars as investments when I can get good deals on coins who's value does not seem to be associated with the silver content. Anyone else doing this? Comments?

Nice finds for everybody, berniez you are in a hot zone to say the least.
My early week 4 box total box 60...skunk box 61...skunk box 62...1 40% box 63..skunk
Cut two of these out for next week, just keeping my one bank order of two boxes where I got the monster from going, these are brinks.
Got four more coming friday, only picked up a total of 4 at this bank, and hit 3 silvers last week, hoping for luck here, so next week just 6 boxes for me, gonna roll with this for a while.
