I don't usually do a box every week, but I was pumped up from last week's success and ordered one for today. I had three 40%ers in my first four rolls and thought the magic from last week might actually continue. Bad to think of yourself as lucky, isn't it?! I did find four more 40%ers in the box, so I've got nothing to complain about.

For inventory purposes, and not because I'm selling, I track 40%ers at $5.25 each and 90%ers at $11 each. Does that sound right?

JWGUTS... go to http://www. (124) Not Allowed - Auto-Removed .com You'll find up to date information, it changes with the price of silver, but yes that is close enough :)

Hey fistfulladirt... I'm going to partially take your advice, as I think I'm going to change to $4.90 for the 40%ers.

thanks M0nk too. I'm trying to pretend that this is just normal finds, so I hope it will continue!

2 boxes from my main squeeze bank tomorrow, and one from state bank, usually crappy for silver but good for NIFC.

good luck everyone

This weeks four boxes ( finally...they forgot my order last week and this weeks was a day late!)
3 90% All 64 Kennedy's
6 40% (67x2, 68x2, 69x2)
35 NIFC (02x4, 03, 04x13, 05x11, 06x2, 07, 08, 10, 11)
1976 Bicentennial Copper Clad Proof
One roll was short by one but had a penny in its place....that is the third week in a row I have had that happen! I hate getting shorted 49 cents! Lol

I have been finding a LOT of NIFC lately....instead of "Not Intended For Circulation" I am starting to think NIFC should stand for "No Interest From Collectors" as it seems easy to find them in circulation in quantity! Lol

Until next week....good luck everyone!

Jwguts,

Using a baseline of $30 as spot:

1964 and before are $10.85
1965-1970 are $4.44.

I have a custom spreadsheet I created that tracks silver content for most silver coins I might run across including Canadian ones and some French ones. It updates spot by the minute and all the values are updated as well.

If you would like a copy, e-mail me and I will see if I can zap it to you.

Did a bit of simple research today. By simply asking for dimes and any loose halves each bank may have,
I was able to determine that the six major chains are indeed using different suppliers.

Luckily for me, all six banks are within about two blocks of each other where I do most of my banking.

Now I need to see if one of the banks which does not use Brinks will order a box or so of halves for me without
me having an account with them. If I think it will produce more silver halves, I will open one up an account or two.

Anyway, more later. I have skipped halves this week and opted for two boxes of dimes. They will be from Brinks in the clear, plastic wrappers.
