JWGuts,

Hey, I only found the one silver 1969-D in $1000 of halves so your ratio isn't too bad.

Did you find any NIFCs?

Boxes 1 & 2 = Nothing
Box 3 = 6 40%ers (all but a 70)
Box 4, 5, 6 = skunk
Box 7 = 1 90% (64 JFK)

Boxes 8, 9, 10 are coming friday. I love that schools out and I can focus on this!

My weekly box was a skunk except for 3 NIFCs. I couldn't get a box last week because the manager was out and they couldn't get into the vault. I also got about $200 CWRs which yielded only 1 NIFC and no silvers. I did get a box of dimes which yielded a 1949, so that brought up my spirits a bit.

kenscott -

No, nothing else. No NIFCs, no errors, no proofs.

Before I started, I was expecting to get skunked because I figured I was probably about to go through someone else's bank dump.

Since the one silver I got was in the very first roll, my expectations jumped. We can all relate to the tricks our minds play on us!

Got an actual box coming later this week.

Went to my local Capital One today, and they said that their banks do not order Half Dollars anymore. Sad day for me bc I was planning on getting $150 in Halves. :(

Congrats to all on their recent finds and good luck to those struggling. HH, you seem to find interesting items. I find the occasional magic coin but that's about it.

2 boxes last night. I get 2 types of boxes from my BofA. 1 type has never produced silver. Of course, both boxes were that type last night. To my surprise, I found a single 1966. Couldn't have been spotted by edge searching. I still think these darker boxes are gone through by someone. I also found my first 82P 'No FG'. It would grade VFish I'm guessing. Maybe AU. This is only the second "No FG" I've found. The first ironically was an 83P, even though I've only looked at very few. I've looked at thousands of 72D and still no luck.

Best of luck to all!

Haven't done a whole lot of searching in the past few months, but it looks like the find rates are declining. Only recent find was a '64 about a month ago from a teller's tray.

I am picking up two boxes tomorrow, if slim pickings think I will give it up. Need 3 more 40% to finish a roll, then quits.

about the no "FG"'s, I have been looking for them on the 82's and have found some with only the slightest trace of the FG, makes me think that the no FG's are caused by a Grease Filled Die and not an ommission, is that correct?
