MadMortician... To try to keep it all logical, I've ranked the quality of the albums, 1st through 9th. So, when I find a nice coin, I need to see how far up the rankings it can reach. Then all coins get bumped down an album from there and the coin in ninth place goes back to the bank.

The 1st place coins haven't been touched in years. 2nd place, maybe a coin a year. Actually not even a lot of movement down to about 6th place.

It's a form of entertainment, I guess.

@jwguts: LOL, yea. Entertaining at least.

Found an old box in storage with a few halves in it. Nothing special, but two Bicentennial Kennedys.

Boxes 5 & 6 produced five 2001D halves, a 2005D, 2006P & D, and eleven (!) of the 71D DDO's

Fun looking through them though.

I referenced my 2012 Cherry Picker's Guide to make sure I was looking for the correct
things on 1971D DDOs.

Even after paying even more detailed attention, I still ended up with zilch. Hey, I will
hopefully find one soon enough. I would also like to find one of the 74Ds with DDO.

So far, only a 1972D with No FG.

I hear ya, mercurydime. who knows. we'll see. i'll keep-a-huntin...

anyone hear anything about this new law that's either already passed or on the books waiting to be passed, that will allow the feds to "confiscate(read steal)" all metals once they declare Martial Law, also on the books?

I'm thinking, is it even worthwhile to collect silver, if they will just confiscate it?

I am surprised at the number of these in the boxes I have received. I think I am somewhere around 15 or so now! The notch on the I for "In God" is a telltale sign when I see them.

I am almost tired of looking at 72s for the 72DDO - it seems like EVERY roll I get has at least two (and sometimes more than 5!) 72s. I have looked at a LOT of these I also would LOVE to find the 72D and 82D No FG. I guess if I keep going I will eventually.

I found a 1987 S proof half in an envelope of 20 dollars. That was my old good find for the day; no silver.

Snared $380 in CWRs today. First roll, bingo! A 1968! This is starting off really well, right?!

$379.50 later, still just had the one 40%.

Oh well, better than nuthin.
