Quote: From the two photos, I can only see three different dates. What are the other eight? Besides the 1949-S there were: 1951-D 1952-D 1954 1954-D 1957-D (2) 1958-D (3) 1963-D The '49-S was not only the best date, it was also the highest-grade Franklin. Go figure!

I don't know if it is desireable...

Also want to congratulate everyone on their great finds. Found this clipped half a few weeks back. It appears to be genuine to me. I went to the NGC site and used their criteria to determine if it is real or fake. It appears genuine to me it has good metal flow especially on the stars next to the largest clip.

It's not called ghosting, it's referred to as clashed dies. I am not sure how desirable it is on old large cents from foreign countries.
Nice double clipped planchet there, trapper. I've found a few in my time, but none that large.
10 boxes today, an AU '63 Frankie, a '64, and 4 40%. Another box sitting in my car right now.

Nope FadeToBlack.... That is Ghosting, as a die clash wouldn't be as evident Struck from a Very Late Die State Die... Causing the transfer of details from one die to the other through the coin, not from a die clash.

Those are great scores Jaobler and baysinger626. Those 2 One Penny coins seem to be in good shape. Nice clipped half trapper. I have never found one, in any denomination. Christmas came early for me. My bank called and told me that the 2 boxes from last week were in the vault after all. I thought they forgot to order them. I found my first Walker. I almost didn't see this. Glad I caught it. This mark corresponds with the top of Kennedy's head. There was also another mark going through the arrows in the Eagle's left claw that corresponds with the back of Kennedy's head. I could not get a clear picture. I don't know what to call this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping Santa brings me a USB Microscope or a better camera. Picking up 2 more boxes on Friday.

Well still dry as a bone around here. 8 silver skunks yesterday. My current skunk streak is 20 boxes, and my Garda boxes (I do 8 weekly) are up to 26 skunks in a row. The good news is I have 6 more garda boxes coming this week Since iv been doing over 10 boxes a week, I do 14 now, Iv never got skunked on a full week, I'm thinking this could be my first, since my 6 brinks didnt come through yesterday. One of my brinks banks isn't ordering next week, so I'm down to 10 boxes for next week, which is fine for me. I think I may tweak my orders from 8 garda,6 brinks to 8 brinks, 6 garda. Still need to figure out dunbar around here, see if I cant dip my feet into their supply, I'm not even sure if they roll coin and service banks/cu's around here, or just service gas stations/mcdonalds. I did find 5 proofs, and my 3rd 2012 yesterday though.

I can confirm there was no silver in the 2 boxes. They were actually complete skunks with nothing to save. I can usually come up with a reason to save a few but these were horrible. My skunk streaks seem to be more frequent. I'll get 2 to 4 good boxes with something then streak begins again. I wish there was some way to change it up. I'm on at least a 10 box skunk with Brinks and its been a couple weeks since finding anything in my other source.

OO, you gotta keep rolling. I have not seen good stuffs for about 6 weeks plowing through 8 - 12 boxes a week. Still rolling here at 4 boxes a week this week. Not sure if I could get any boxes next week.
