Congrats Owassokie and halfhunter.

Owassokie, the last few boxes I have gone through contained a lot of coins that looked dirty and burnt. The first thing I do after unwrapping the roll is do a quick edge search. Then I look at every coin. Some of these last coins were so dirty I could see someone missing the silver ones If they were just edge searching. Some actually looked like a dirty clad. Two different edge colors.

I took a picture of the edges of a few coins as an example but there seems to be a problem with the Image Optimizer. I'll check back later and post the photo when it's back up.

Hey bishftl, can you tell me what caused the errors on the 2001's?

That 72-D is a MAD- Mis-Aligned Die. They're somewhat common on dimes( from my experience). I've never found a JFK MAD. Nice find!

11 boxes, 14 40%, 2 '64, and an '82-S Washington 90%'er... the washie was an ender, lol. Weird ender. So was one of the '64's, but I didn't grab a pic of it because I didn't realize it, as I didn't flip the boxes upside down to empty them tonight.

I finished the box last night. Ended up with 15 40%ers. Every one of them was covered in the dark soot looking matter. I figure they were in a fire. In case you're wondering, there were many other clad coins covered in the soot.

I have enough cash to pick up 2 boxes today. Trying to decide if I want to pick up my other 2 B of A boxes or pick up 1 and my bag of lose $500 from Loomis/Chase?!?! This is the first time in a long time that I'm looking forward to opening a BofA box.

Murphy, I'm horrible about taking pictures. About a week ago, I found a sweet 1972 DDO LMC that I'm pretty excited about and I STILL haven't even taken a picture of it. I even have a USB Micro, but I hate getting online at home. When I'm home, all I want to do is search...lol. My wife thinks I need to go to rehab.

Bish, You need any NIFC's? I'd be interested in cash or junk silver trade.

FtB / HH, I've looked through 100's of thousands of halves and I still haven't found a commemorative, be it silver or clad. That's the one coin I'm surprised I haven't ran across.

This is my third Washington Commemorative (2 proof, 1 bus strike). I've also pulled a pair of Booker T's (One from a box, another from a CWR), and probably a half-dozen bicentennial silvers.

Off to dump!

I somehow convinced my brother and wife to help me unroll coin last night... $8000 in halfs, $2000 in dimes and $500 in pennies. We were done pretty quickly. I'll post pics of the coins in the appropriate threads a little later. I'm always surprised to see other peoples dumps and then find 40% and 90% sitting right there. It gives me hope that CRH isn't dead.

Just finished the weirdest box I've ever had.

The good news: a 63 Franklin, 64 Kennedy and a 67 Kennedy.

More good news: Not that I'm keen on collecting errors, but I do give it a sideways glance. Still, after over 30,000 coins, I never found a no-FG. Until today. Now I've got one!

Next, FOURTEEN painted Kennedys. Titanic, Muhammed Ali, Princess Diana, Lucille Ball, Kate and William, Derek Jeter, etc. These are all painted over a base of gold plating.

And, THIRTEEN gold plated Kennedys. Probably as a base for the painted coins.

Finally, I still set aside NIFCs, and other than the few which have been painted, not a single NIFC in the whole box.

If I figured out my first photo upload okay, here they are:

I had a decent day despite only being able to grab 8 boxes. And well, one of them was....

A Dream Box!

Saw a WLH and a bunch of 40% enders when the teller handed me the box. Went out ot my car, ripped it open, looked for more... total enders? 13, including a double-sided ender. 1 WLH, the rest were 40%ers. Went to reach for my phone... wasn't there. Crap... well, long story short, it fell under the passenger side seat and I was running around for an hour like a madman looking for it. Realized it was in the car when my Fiancee called me and my bluetooth in the car started going off, lol. So unfortunately, no pictures of the enders or the progress through the box, but I did take pictures of the results... This also includes the other box I picked up from the same bank, which had 20 keepers (5 90%, 15 40%) of it's own.

The dream box had 100 40%ers and 5 90%ers.

Here's your pics.
