Nice find on that rotated die, that's a killer rotation, and something I'll never find, sadly, since I'm just an edge searcher.

What do you search the edges for?

Thanks.

Silver and proofs... edge searcher just means I don't check individual coins, I just bust open rolls and check the edges.

OK, gotcha! I thought maybe there was something going on with the edges!

it's 11.3 grams. and it's no magician coin. I'm not a huge face searcher either, lately. every once in a while, if I'm in a crappy box, I may edge search a roll or two, worst I could be throwing away is a 1987 or error.

I always look at any bright edge first in the roll, after silver, of course. Good thing I do, or I would have missed this one.

If I'm in a good box, I search every coin, front and back.

Bish, what's that cost for NGC? Is NGC better than PCGS or ?
Did you insure it as you mailed it? I'd be kind of afraid to mail it to them

it wasn't a problem to send it. only worth sending if you have at least 5 coins that need grading. you have to have a membership which is pricy then the grade fees are $14 + $12 for the error. return insured shipping is required as well which is up to $25 for 10 coins. I have an account and some coins I need to send, if you want me to send yours along with them, it would cost probably $30 total. message me if you're interested in getting it done.
i have a few errors to send but not the 5 minimum at that pricing tier.

Yea, I only have the one, I think. Have other errors, but probably not significant.

Thx, bro, let me think it over.

don't know by how much but I think you can have them graded for less cost at the shows.

Hey bish, if you need another error for your lot, I'm looking to get that Kennedy error I posted a couple pages back slabbed.

YVA, you really only save on shipping at the shows, otherwise, its not that much of a cost savings.

that one is definitely worth sending in. message me if you're willing to part with it for a month or so. turnover is 21 working days for error coins.

fees for a no fg would be $26 + return insured shipping, depending on how many coins we end up sending in.
I've seen some sell for over $300 so being worth it would depend on the coin. you can go to heritage auctions and compare to some that have sold, they have XXX high quality images of all coins sold.

Cool, that sounds worth it to me. I will confirm this weekend, but I think you guys can count me in for 1-2 coins for sure. Thanks bish.

I would send that one in for sure Bernie, thats a great coin. Iv looked at those TPG pages they all seem confusing to me, looks like the best deal is the membership, but then you need the coins worth sending in. Id slab it even if I was going to keep it, would be a great slab.

Oh yeah I can vouch for bish to. I traded with him for some proof coins and modern 90% kennedys, great transaction.
