gamesthatgo,
2005's are somewhat common once you start searching boxes. I have found varying amounts of all years 2002 - 2012 in boxes. They are called
NIFC, or Not Intended For Circulation.

My Dansco book also lists 1987 as NIFC. Anyone have any thoughts on that?

Picked up what should have been $100 in CWR from my regular CU. One roll was short $1 and only found one 2009-D in the bunch. Also found some marked coins, so I am confident these were part of someone's dump. I think someone is getting a box or so locally and dumping small amounts at different banks along the route I live on.

So, I may stick with CWRs from other parts of town and dump a few at the closer banks with my mark in hopes the dumper finds some of them and realizes he or she is not the only one doing this in the immediate area. Also did $75 is CR dimes which turned out to be a skunk.

I think 1987 is a true NIFC, as it was only made on the 1987 mint sets. THe 2002 and newer were also issued in mint sewn bags of 100$. You can buy them from the fed site. I'm fairly certain the fed is sitting on some stacks of those, and they do get sent out. I actually think the fed is siting on bags of 1995 and newer. The last 2 weeks Iv had boxes with solid rolls of brand new 1995 coins. Iv seen other searchers post boxes with 100+ coins of any 2000 series coin.

I think If you had a virgin dansco to fill and were to do it from boxes only, your more likely to find the 2002-2012 coins then to find the 1987 coins. I would say Iv found over 2000 of the 2002-2012 coins, and only found 3 rolls total of 1987.

games that go, There are boxes of rolled coins, both flats and double stacked cubes. There are also plastic bang bags of lose coin, which usually comes from the fed in bags of $1000. I also have a bank that will bring me a bag of $500.

Two boxes on Monday (Weird for me) First box a skunk (except for a 74D DDO). Second box had 7 40%ers and a decent 2000s Clad Proof. A few NIFC's. I ordered my second bag of $1000 from a newer bank. Hope it goes better than the first.

Also, Stopped by a bank drive through and asked for half dollars. Lady said 'Sure...I have $112.50. Do you want all of them.' In my neck of the woods, I know that look and voice. She knew she was dumping clads on me. I went ahead and took them. They were all junk, as expected. I hate asking for lose coins in my area. There's no such thing as cwr because banks don't except rolled coins. Every bank has at least one person that saves silver so the only time I catch a silver is if it's a young teller and the others haven't taken the time to pick over her drawer.

gamesthatgo all of the banks around here and I assume everywhere else have boxes or bags of $500.00. Good find yogurt That is how it goes for me a whole lot of nothing and then a bunch then nothing. I think I have only had two boxes with one 40 in them the rest have either been skunks or I find quite a few. pretty much the same with cwr.

Monks, NJ is about the same, maybe a little better, but I go through lots of dry spells. Then, I find some.

Mauijay, great finds. I would keep a roll of any BU I get. Hopefully one roll of each mint.

About $78 in loose and CWR today. Not a single keeper, but fun to find a bunch of new banks and branches

What town? I have a pretty good idea of where the districts break down. You're either in my district, or TimZim (Dude on Tnet, does 50+ boxes a week) and a few other big searchers district.
