I've pulled '16 and '17 walkers, and two barbers, so those are my oldest... but yeah, the Frankie set is circulation coins later upgraded with BU's purchased for no more than $3 over melt. Once I complete the set, I'll probably go out and get some nice 64-65 coins to finish off the set and fill the holes of the non-BU coins. I actually picked up a MS65ish 1960 plain today from a dealer for $11, it's a nice looking coin with some interesting and somewhat eye-appealing toning to replace my XF+ '60 I found a couple months ago that was currently my nicest of that date/mm.

I'd say I'm at about the same point, 75% percent are AU/BU.

Lesson learned: I was looking at the last coin that I found in my good box last week. I found it by the date, not by edge searching. I missed this coin while edge searching because it looks like a normal copper clad...I just happened to look at dates to see what else I could find. I decided to double check the whole box since I excitedly went through them pulling out the 1968s. I was able to find two more 1968 coins..this brings my total for the box to 29 (25 1968).
Picked up $200 in cwr while getting dimes at my usual small town bank (found 4 silver roosevelts in $155 in dimes)
All of the halves were brought in by the same person...almost didn't take them because there is a guy that dumps at my bank. Took them home because there was a different name on them. I could hardly believe it when I found my 2nd, 3rd and 4th franklins from cwr, one 1964 and 3 40%...a gift to me on my daughter's birthday.

First box out of my "big order" of five boxes for the week was a skunk. I had a lot of coins marked 7/12 on them so I guess I now know somewhat how long the turn around is. Hopefully the next four are better.

Well I have been searching for halfs for a while. Been through about $250 in rolls and picking up loose ones here and there at banks I have only found one 40%. Today I walked out of a bank and said this is a waste of time. I am no longer searching for silver in circulation. Well the next bank I drove past I said what the heck. Went in side and asked the teller she said yes but made a joke you have to buy in bulk. I only had $50 cash so I got 5 rolls she had a bunch. So go back to my car and open the first one and on top is a 1968 I went through the rolls and found 5 40% in those rolls. So I went back inside and asked how much more she had of halfs. She had another $190 so I asked to use the ATM because I do not bank with them. So payed $2 fee to get out $200 and took all her rolls. Total I found 25 40% and 5 90% Awesome! Then I rerolled all the coins and drove to my normal dumping bank for coins and the teller I always use and had took her a $15 starbucks card last week. Asked if I wanted $3 in halfs she had as I was giving her over $200 in halfs. Of corse I got them and one was a 90% Today was my lucky day.

I got 11 rolls of Kennedy's at a bank a couple of weeks ago and found 10 coins that were 40% silver clad in the date range below 1970.

gold panner,

How many coins are in a box? The teller at my bank said they group half dollars by $1000.00 which would be 2000 coins. I was not clear if she was calling it a bag or a flat? Can anyone help me out with the lingo?

All the boxes (a flat box) I've ordered have $500 in them (1000 coins).

I found a 2005 D Kennedy in one of the rolls I checked recently. According to a website I recently read about collecting Kennedy's said no coins greater than 2002 were released to common circulation. How much should I expect to pay for those coins?
