To go a little further into what Ken said about banks and holding deposits in reserve... Banks are only required to hold 10% of deposits in reserve. So if you deposit $100k, they can loan out $90k... now let's say the person who takes the $90k uses $9k off the top, and deposits $81k into another account... the bank can then loan out $73k of that money, and so on... Banks can, essentially, leverage your money multiple times to create a much higher interest rate than the 4% they pay you.

picked up 2 boxes today and it turned out to be the most amazing boxes I've ever seen in all my yrs of searching half dollars box 1 - 38 40's 12 90's (64's and a few franklins) and box 2 I couldnt believe what I saw so I made some photos sorry for the blurry pictures the enders  final results  box 2 - 14!! barbers! still cant believe it and 1 40 I threw back for someone else to find and this offically ended my 21 box streak of finding nothing what a way to end the curse! |

Man nice find I hope My boxes for this weekend have a few silver in them, that's a Great Score. I think I would order a few more from that bank and hope they were as good.

2 boxes:
1- 1976-S 40% silver proof
1- 2005-S proof
1- 2001-D with large "S" counterstamp on right side of obverse
4- NIFC's
All those finds were from one box. My second box was a complete skunk. Two more boxes tomorrow, assuming the current blizzard doesn't mess with the Brinks delivery schedule. I'm so tired of snow!! 14 inches fell five days ago and we're getting 8"-10" over night tonight...
