Another $1000 on Friday with no silver :( Seriously.... For you 'glass half full' types, I did manage a nice 1987. Lots of marked coin. It feels like several more people around me are processing a lot of coin and just rim searching.

I got a 1910 British penny on Friday, too. I've found probably a dozen or so in boxes of halves.

I went to a few banks today in a town I hadn't searched yet. Two of the tellers tried to discourage me. One said, "If you're looking for silver, there isn't any. We have already pulled everything." The other teller at a different bank said, "Just so you know, all of this has already been searched by someone. They brought it back and I just thought I'd let you know." I thanked them both for the information and then said that I would take the halves anyway. There may be something I need. Here is what I found. 1972D NoFG 1982P NoFG 1983P NoFG a perfect 1987D 2003P & D 2008P & D I would be happy with that for searched rolls. Here's where it gets interesting 1951 Franklin in bad shape Kennedys 1964 x2 1965 1966 x3 1967 x14 1968D x11 1969D x10 Three nice errors and 42 silver out of "searched" rolls. I'll take it.

that's one of the reasons I just tell them I will take it all, I tell them the same thing, I need to fill some holes in my kids books, or that I also search errors if people know that I am more into searching the stuff. I have found some errors, and I think one silver in all the ones I have taken that I was told not to bother, I need odd rolls anyway to top off the 500 count bags, wish I could dump 1000 dollar bags but the girls at the bank say they don't want big ugly muscles...... the one that told me that is into yoga and such and whatever she is doing is defiantly working and I sure don't want her husband chasing me down for giving her muscles!
