@bishftl Nice MAD I found this one a few weeks ago. It is the farthest off of all of the ones I've come across.

Heres a score I found last summer. Over 350 coins of gold plated stickered with Barack Obamas picture with most of the stickers peeeling off. Not sure if some vendor dumped them or . . . At the time I said if only they had been silver. It also gave me a hunch that most dumps stay together whether they are an old lady dumping silver or CRH dumping their rejects (which is also why I seem to get whole boxes of marked coins with the same magic marker marks)

And after my Barack Obama box I magaed to score my monster box of silver. I usually get Loomis boxes from Chase but they came with some String and Son boxed ones last July. I didn't have time to search them after work as it was the night of the monthly coin club meeting so I went into work early Friday morning and in the second box I scored the motherload. I had always thought those who posted awesome scores my somehow be faking it but I can say for sure sometimes you do get lucky, really lucky. I found 89 Walkers, 126 Ben Franklins, 2 1964's, and 43 40%ers. The down side is it would have to take a mircale to top that box and it seems that every week since it just isn;t the same (except for that week 2 months later that I found $1000 worth of silver)

Wow Jack, that's the most 90% I've ever seen in a box.

"Wow Jack, that's the most 90% I've ever seen in a box." Me too I usually go through $9K a week and other than 3 weeks ago when I found $500 worth I have been on a horrible streak since Christmas time as it seems most others have been reporting here. I almost believed the teller when she said the armored car driver told her they were pulling silver at the Loomis warehouse but I found a few per week after that so I shrugged it off but except for the $500 score 2 weeks ago I have been on a major slump.

Do I have to be the first to point this out? Obama promised us change. There it is.

Holy Smokes...that's a lot of NIFC's! I didn't know about the NIFC deal when I first started searching. I remember coming across a few boxes that seem to be mostly NIFC's and just returning them back to the bank . Oh well, live and learn!

Did someone say they were willing to sell PROOF coins? I've resisted for many years, but the proof holes in my albums are calling out to me.

I am almost to the point of throwing them back as I have so many with no outlet to make a killing $ wise on them but feel guilty just throwing them back knowing some day they may be worth a litle more. I scored $400 in uncircualted Ikes in custoemr rolled papers rolls from a teller that knows I am into coins since they wouldn;t go through the counting machine and I can make a few buck on ebay with them for a hassel and possible ripoff Paypal scam but don;t want to spend them and leave money on the table but am still weighing the risk vs reward.

I heard the same thing from a teller who I would trust with my life, loomis is pulling silver. It is sorted out by weight but I'm not sure what happens from there. She heard it directly from a driver, who said drivers don't get any but it is pulled in the rolling room. I've been debating on weather or not to make a stink.

I hope it is not true as all of the locla banks here have Loomis rolls regardless of final carrier.
Chase uses Garda who delivers Loomis rolls (very rarely delivers String and Song), North Shore Bank had Loomis rolls while I have seen Brinks delivering their coins, BMO Harris foremerly M & I has Loomis rolls while I have seen the Loomis truck outside (but when I get a Chase streak of S & S rolls it seams BMO has S & S rolls as well) which leads me tobelieve all of the coin in the SE WI region goes through Loomis so no matter where I dump I get the same coins back.

i started searching with halves then did about 200 dollars worth of pennies and now am trying to fill folders of nickels but I think once I fill those I am going to go back to searching halves and try to make some money and maybe find my dream coin the walker!

Why not search them all at once? I get two boxes of halves, two boxes of nickels and whatever penny rolls my bank has available once a week. I would go nuts if I searched just one denomination at a time!
