4 boxes today.
No silver, a few NIFC, and 3 holed halves. I been seeing more holed coins than silver lately.

I can say in the past year and a half I had only come across maybe 8 holed coins but in the last month I have come across an additional 8 holes coins some already marked by other CRH.

had a bunch this last time where someone had drilled enough to hit the copper middle and stopped drilling, also a lot of coins that are supper clean but all scratched up like someone took a knife to them then marked them with SM

I've found a few NIFC that look wirebrushed like some kid got them wth a sticker on the and tried to "remove it" before they spent them.
I have a few that have a dap of maroon nail polish or paint on the last digit of the date (only found that mark on NIFC coins)
I've also come across a few X scratched coins and some intentionally scratches many times over coins for no reason as they are just common dates.
I guess CRH all have their own proprietary "mark or stamp" to claim their territory.

I was thinking about coming up with some different counter stamps like the state ones or whatever thinking maybe it would pull some from circulation if they had a cool counter stamps people may keep them

I bought 10 rolls today: I found a 1967 40%er, 2 1972 no FGs, and a 1977 no F weak G.

8 boxes. 4 each from 2 different banks. When I got home I noticed on the stamps that they were all from the same CWI location. Even had the same inspector.
Finally tally - 1 1967 and a complete mangled 1978 proof that will be tossed back.

got 6 customer wrapped rolls from the bank, found nothing but a canadian quarter and one roll missing 75 cents and another missing 50 cents, even getting federal wrapped I only got 90-'00s

FINALLY - found a decent little haul of silver! I've been on a silver slump lately - 3 40% out of the last 24 boxes prior to last week. Last week I found 5 90% and 2 40% out of 8 boxes. So yesterday, I pick my usual 8 boxes and while driving home I casually open the first box to see if I have any enders. I see a 1964 and 2 40% staring back at me - I almost did a double take because I wasn't expecting much but knew the slump had to give sooner or later. I pulled over at my next bank to pick up boxes of nickels and quickly opened 8 rolls - 4 1964 and 1 40%. It was great to feel the excitement of finding multiple silvers in a box. All in all, after racing home - 15 1964 and 12 40%!    This was the most 90% I've found in a box in probably 2 years. Happy hunting to all! I'll post what I find in the other 7 boxes soon. |

I have to brag.
I hit the mother lode this past Monday in Alabama. Stopped by Credit Union to see if they had any by chance. Lady at the drive through didn't and thought they probably had none but checked. She came back and said a teller inside had $400. I figured it was a customer "roll searcher" who came & turned them in, but I decided to check them out anyway. I Only had $80 with me so bought $80.
I was right, all were customer rolled but them didn't have any marks on the outside which is typical when a searcher goes through them, so I hoped I would still find something one or two silver.
I opened the first roll & got wide eyed - 4 Kennedy 1964, 1 Franklin 1962 and 8 Kennedy 40%. The remaining 7 rolls produced 1 more 1964 and 4 40% for total of 6 90% and 12 40%. Not bad for $80 (11%).
Needless to say I needed the rest of the $320 so went & got cash from my ATM, bought the rest.
End result
18 Kennedy 1964
1 Franklin 1962
61 Kennedy 1965 - 1969 40%
1 1992 Proof (decent but still circulated)
I have had some amazing luck with bank customer rolled coins over the past year, and have hit a fat zero with the bank rolled ones. Most of the time it is no silver, but occasionally 1 or 2 in a roll. But these big hits are a real fun experience. It is so cool opening a roll & seeing those bright silver edges mixed in with the dark copper, especially when almost all are silver.
I am now at the point I won't even waste my time if the rolled coins at the bank are NOT customer rolled. Not worth the time to have to re-roll them based on the percentage to date = ZERO. Same results when I have tried buying a box via the bank order.
This was my second big score. About year ago got something like 59 of 60 (3 rolls) either 1964 or 40% and one 1990 proof.

good finds everybody my last box out of five was another skunk so I think I have been two weeks without any silver halves
