Congrats on the 70D! Extremely hard coin to find in " The Wild"!
I've been lucky enough to have found 2 of them searching and ending up selling them.
I now have a 70 Mint Set and a 70D PCGS MS64.

Got $10 in loose halves from a teller, which was nice. When I got them, I saw they were all clad, so I decided to check for errors and look for any NIFC dates. Nothing at all from these.

Spent some time hitting a lot of the banks around town today. Searched $80 worth of rolls and a bunch of loose ones from the teller. Didn't find a single thing really worth keeping. Is it better to order boxes of halves rather than picking up rolls that the bank already has? I noticed today that 4 rolls I picked up were already marked by someone and they were obviously picked through and hand rolled. So would ordering a box avoid this?

gruver, no it wouldnt boxes as well as loose coins and rolls they all have their ups and downs, you can find a solid roll at the bank or you can find a solid roll worth in boxes its luck of the draw - most of the time when I look for CWR's they usually tell me they have none
bank forgot to order my halves this week oh well time for some quarter and dime boxes

Dead thread? I think that since everyone decided to tell the whole world about CRH through YouTube and what not, our results have gone down. GL to all who continue, I'm switching my time to restoring vintage roadbikes.

it has gotten pretty bad. and just last week I was finally allowed to order boxes again.
the manager who wouldn't do it got transferred finally. I will probably try a couple boxes here and there
but there is really no reason to waste the time anymore.

6 boxes of halves toady. No silver, a Barry O stickered half, a few NIFC, and a 1982 no FG polished off serif 1. 9 box no silver streak going. I have 3 more boxes sitting here but had to stop before I got agitated. At least 5 out of 6 boxes had dry style rolling papers. I too was going to mention where did everyone disappear to?  |

Yes, I want to see the 1000 page mark myself. Have been here too long not to see the 1000 page mark.
I think this thread will still be around for a decent while. It has suffered a bit as of late, but it has not died.
