Did $15 in loose halves and got nothing, which was to be expected. Luckily the bank I got them from has a lot more loose halves, so I'll probably go back there and get the rest.

Yeah I'm not trying to be so dark, but its gotten too saturated with hunters. The last time I went to get coins the vault manager told me she had them and went to get them. I was in a hurry and I didn't look closely at the boxes, but when I got home I noticed that they were taped shut. When I opened them I saw that they were already searched. I went back to the bank the next day and told the vault manager that maybe she had mistakenly given me the wrong boxes, and I asked if my new boxes were there. Her response, "too many people are asking now. I'm giving out whatever I get on a first come first serve basis". Let me just tell you that I have officially found a new dump bank. Congrats to those who get my trash, if and when I ever decide to do it again...

And the reason I said "dead thread" is because when I first started there were searchers like Bishftl, Monks, and FTB who would search VOLUMES. Now, I hardly see them post anymore. Oh well.

yep, it sucks not having access to the bulk I could get like clockwork from multiple banks. with new managers and high volume dumps, the game was ruined by so few compared to how many do it right. I might be able to order again but not nearly what I used to.
sad to say but I really miss searching 4-8 boxes in one sitting. I find myself going through all the old finds over and over again with a loupe just to get my fix.

Yeah I know that the days of volume searching for everyone is over. I'm trying my luck at 4 boxes this Friday. Ill see how this goes. I'm super skeptical but oh well I'll have to wait to see if my suspicions are true.

Colles,
I think I am getting a mixed lot from my providing bank on the weeks I am ordering them. First few boxes produced decently. They one or two did not followed by one or so that did.
Sad thing is the last six boxes have produced no silver and very little worth keeping. Found an increasing number of marked coins.
Maybe things will change. I have been doing fewer boxes seeing how I am not looking to ramp up my E-Bay listings. Takes time to get the listings right.
