Hi all, I will get picks up later but I couldn't wait for some feedback!
I just got a toonie with a small clip on the center planchet, it's fairly small but enough to see through. curious how common these are and a potential value? I couldn't find much on them.

Hello Bob Levi. I sold a 1996 clipped core toonie through an auction house in 2010. The price realized was $225 + buyer's fee. I think they are very hard to find. Congrats!

OK, Here she is...
I got this in a lot with a 1502 Hungarian silver(great shape), a double clipped 1978 penny, two ancient romans(one silver, both yet to be identified, heading to that forum next), a really beat victory note from Philippines,2002 Olympic quarter raised 2 variety, 1952-2002 penny with what I think is a silver bevel rim, and a couple things worth face for 25 bucks.
VERY HAPPY

Bob, you scored a major deal on that lot. Those types are very very hard to come across. I had a very very similar twoonie same year and sold it to a dealer for 200. So I'msure you could fetch at least that much

Nice find! I'm a bit surprised it was used as much as it was before getting pulled out of circulation.
