looks higher vf details to me.Almost XF. Surfaces are not pristine but not terrible for 15 bucks I think. N-7 is my guess on attribution. http://www.ebay.com/itm/361057361503

Looks like an N-3 to me which is an R.1. Surface looks porous but it may just be the pic. There are some obverse scratches too. Low EF sharpness. The net grade on this coin is tricky so referring to the EAC grading guide I'll net grade it F-12. Not bad for the money!
1852 N-3 R.1 40/12.
