I believe that this coin may have been minted in Trujillo. To the right of the castle is a dot over M dot, and to the left looks like a dot over BR dot. The date is off the flan. What do you think? There is one from Valladolid mint (mint mark shreds), 1661, and assayer M and value IIII (under the castle). But assayer (those one I know) is on the left side of castle and mint mark on the right side. I dont know similar coins from other mints. v. Report this Post to the Staff
