Anybody been to the ANA summer seminar and were the classes and seminars worthwhile and enjoyable? Thinking about going and thought I'd get some feedback from those that have done so.

I went two (or is it now three) years ago for 2 weeks.
I took grading 1 and 2.

I found out that I'm a technical grader and therefore got everything lower than what others thought.
That in itself was worth it.
The classes are very good.
And you get to meet some people whose names you only see in print.

Sleeping accommodations are more like Army barracks.
But you get fed very well.

And the altitude bothered me.

Spent a couple years at USAFA almost 35 years ago before getting kicked out for being a 19 year old knucklehead. So having lived there for a while, know all about the altitude.

Always considered Colorado and that area in particular ... God's country and vowed to return. Never did though, but might make the trek for the seminar. From all indications, seems like it would be fun and educational.

Absolutely, I've been to more than 7 years of them, never had a bad experience, you will learn a lot, make new friends and be overwhelmed with coins (if that is possible)!

My information is all secondhand but I've never heard anything but glowing praise about those seminars.
