Possible Lamination? 1964 Kennedy Half Dollar

The top left of the circled area kind of looks like a die crack. SsuperDdave Moderator United States 23522 Posts	Posted 04/18/2015 10:57 pm I'm unsure; the upper left of the circled area, on the neck, rather resembles a small lamination. Looks like a bit of it delaminated, as well. The "weak spot" is the run from the point of the neck to the rim. "Weak" areas like that are most normally in the fields, running between devices. In the grand scheme of things, die cracks in devices are quite a bit rarer than they are in fields. Report this Post to the Staff
