There is no listing for a 76 dime of any variety but this appears to have the back of the bust doubled. Included a pick of a normal 76 to compare it to.

Looks like it, but I'll let those with more expertise verify my opinion. Finally, someone who know's what he/she is doing!

This looks like a die that had a clash on that area and then the die was polished to remove the marks and removed part of the edge of the field next to the bust. Here is an overlay:
1976-DDO-Dime
The area does not follow the contour of the full side of the bust, just in areas where a clash could have happened. I would save it for now though.
