Hi all, just want to share this one I found the other day while searching a couple nickel rolls.

This is the second one I have found in the wild. I found my first one a few years back, and it had seen a lot more wear than this one. Also found a nice '36 Buffalo in the same roll.

Wowser. Lots going on here. RPM-001, I'm guessing (right down to the counterclockwise rotation of the MM), but the die is whatever stage there is on the other side of VLDS, and the profile looks so brutally machine doubled it makes you wonder if the whole press bounced off the floor when it happened.

Nice one! VLDS, but in decent shape. Check out the MD on the first 'O' in "MONTICELLO"

Nice condition for a roll-found 1954 S. Not to mention the RPM

I agree it looks like the 1954-S RPM # 1
