Commemorative of the Swedish poetess Anna Maria Malmstedt, wife ("Coniux") of the newspaperman Charles Lenngren. She died ("Obiit") in 1817, just as it says on the reverse. The allegorical device should be obvious. "Quo minus gloriam petebat eo magis assecuta" = "the less she sought fame, the more she obtained it" "Carminibus inclyta" = "famous for her songs"
I believe this medal was issued by the Royal Swedish Academy. She was not formally a member, because she had refused nomination, but she was heavily involved in the organization nevertheless.
