I'm not sure this looks legit? As far as the strile-over, not the lamination.

Thoughts?

The 'odd strike' doesn't align alright on both sides so I'd say it's just scratches on the reverse.

It's an ebay listing of a "rare" coin with only 2-3 known in existence according to NGC. I just think it looks a little fishy. Then again, I am certainly not an expert on Finnish coins.

nothing wrong with that coin 100% legit
and a lamination peel/flake.

Re rev are not scratches as lines are parallel

quite a interesting coin rotated and lamination

$10 plus shipping maybe not

I agree the rev lines are not scratches, it is a "1". However, what has happened on the reverse? It doesn't look like it was struck on a previous coin and above the "29" doesn't resemble the sword hilt or paw?

This particular type of coin is known to be overstruck over older coins. That reminded me to hunt one down for my overstrike collection. I was certain I had one somewhere...

This is why the size of the number "1" and the kilt may not look exactly the same in the under layer as the newer series coin were slightly smaller than the older ones.

As of why this is done - who knows.
