I bought a lot 1962 & 1974 coins from Bulgaria to find doubled dies.. (found 8!! )

But this 1 Stotinki caught my attention..
The color was different then the rest..
The weight is the same, only this one is magnetic.. The rest I tested not!!

Your opinions please.. Thanks in advance..

Could be. Looks like it's authentic, too. I see nothing saying it's not the wrong deal

Were these minted in the Soviet Union?

Very curious piece!

Very interesting.

These coins are supposedly struck in brass. These should have been struck by Bulgarian mint unless Leningrad / Moscow mint struck some coins for Bulgaria. If it is magnetic, it may struck in plated steel.

That said, good catch! When one is curious, you may end up finding something very unexpected. Hold onto it!
