I'm willing to accept this is counterfeit, but is it contemporary (e.g. 1860s) or a moder chinese one?

Weight is 0.823+/-0.001g

Hmm, originally I was inclined to think there was a chance it could be contemporary, but the style of the date and letters makes me think it's modern cast copy.
However, I know nothing regarding contemporary counterfeit 3cS' so don't take my word on it.

Modern china fake. Probably made in the past 10-20 years max. The date is the giveaway.

The contemp. counterfeits from the 1860's era would have maintained the same date font.

Modern Chinese copy. Can tell by the date. Can be had on Alibaba for less than $2.

Modern. That thin date stroke probably wasn't possible in contemporary times. I had no trouble finding them in the Bad Place.
