I saw this today and had to purchase it, I thought it was pretty cool. And, I didn't have my glasses or my loupe with me and it kinda looked like an 1869 in the dark lighting of the antique store I found it at. Willing to take a gamble for $5.00 What do you think?

Some collectors may freak because this coin has been made into a souvenier but I think it's pretty cool.

Thank goodness it is a common date. Looks like someone already tried to take it out by hitting it with a screw driver.

The coin has been in the stone (or is it plastic) so long, it has taken on the color . Nice purchase.

It's Stone. It looks to be glued on or something.

Hahahah! That is a good one! Pcgs or NGC would get a kick out of designing specialty holders and labels. Ugh, lol.

Sometimes you just have to settle for what the coin is, and this one's a perfect example. The damage is done and it's a far more interesting piece just where it is. Like the encased "Good Luck" coins.
In the scheme of those things, this coin is really interesting.
