I am looking for a Pick number for this Banknote from France. I have searched through the Krause catalogs but cannot seem to find it.

My guess is that this is a locally issued post-WWI emergency note, only used in Paris (hence the Chambre de Commerce de Paris written on it). So you might have to look through the Specialized Issues catalog (which... I don't own, sorry).

According to this collector's site it was issued in 1920 and is worth about 4 Euros

It is a local note and will not be found in any of the Pick catalogs, even the specialized catalog.

'Les Billets Des Chambres De Commerce" by Jean Pirot is a comprehensive study on notes issued between 1914 and 1925 by Chambers of Commerce in France. They were issued to address the shortage of metallic money.
This is the 'go to' reference book for this type of note - but I suspect it is written only in the French language.

Thanks everyone for the great replies. I did not know that it would not be part of the Krause Specialized Catalog.

Interesting. Not sure how seller could indicate this was a 1920 note when the 1 July 1922 date is prominent. A question for the ages I suppose.

The 1 July 1922 date is the redemption date not the date of issuance.
