This seems to have all the markers but then again I've been wrong before.. Hoping to hear everyone's thoughts... While these pictures don't capture it there are scribble marks on the reverse at the eagles leg area. Also many die cracks aren't showing as strongly as they really are in person. Amazing die cracks all over this one. Thanks in advance..

Holy Cow, my heart almost stopped. For a moment I thought I used to own that one, until I hit my archives. It looks very_close to the archive coin I have here at CCF.

srs77, I think you nailed this one nicely. Beautiful coin, but I'm still working on the last one.

Quote: Let me know if you can confirm that Oh, I confirmed it wasn't before posting. I have high-res images of every coin I've owned, even the flipped ones. 4400 images of Morgans alone, although of course that's only a few hundred coins.

What a dichotomy on ease of attribution between your two SRS. Such is VAMing :)

Look closely at the rim where the crack from the 1 arrives. This one's as late as mine, and that should be a full Retained Cud, albeit with little displacement. Then again, my definition of " Retained Cud" involves less than complete separation of the two pieces of the die, subsurface.

SsuperDdave, the Cud goes just into the rim near the one, it goes across the rim near the fourth left STAR.

It's pretty subtle. Yours looks to be as LDS as mine was. Here's what I have for it: And if you look at the "look" of the rim from one end to the other, a pretty strong argument can be made for displacement between one end and the other.
