Cash in while it's hot, because it's inconceivable that they're rare. I wonder what Lincoln die life is like? Of course, every single coin struck by that die is just like this one.

That is so minor. All the coins from that die made it to circulation because Q.C. definitely won't see that.

I'll agree with that. If I have to look at it 5 times and then I'm still not sure if it is or isn't ,I can live without it

Well, their production controls are good enough these days that this is what you'll get for DD's. Gotta be sharp to see them, and I actually kind of like that.

You aren't kidding about that. When was it? about 2003 the mint instituted new ways to prevent errors of any kind to get out into circulation. I'd say they've done a pretty good job. I am thankful for what I do find and what you guys find & share

I still don't see how folks see this as minor. With the single squeeze hubbing process, this is the equivalent to the '55 or '72 die 1. I've found 9 or 10 of these so far:

http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=eds

I've noticed every single one with my naked eye. The 2014 is way more distorted than the 2013 die 5. I honestly believe that if I walked by the 2014, lying on the ground, I would know it before I picked it up. But, I search Lincolns. Maybe I have gotten so used to seeing 1000's of normal coins that the difference jumps out at me.

It is the second strongest DDO for that year according to John Wexler's listings. I would like one, but not for that price.
