I'm also curious as to what a coin like this looks like under the fold. Is it extremely weak struck or just mildly weak given a thin lamination? And then also wouldn't it look struck through since the extra thickness of the fold? Time to research!

Good questions but I can't pull it apart. I'd ruin the error. The fold might ever break away.
