The poor seller probably thinks I'm nutz because looking at his/her other auctions, I bought this just this morning!

None of the O/CC's are "bombs."

Think I like 8 better than 11 for this one, but I'll revisit when I'm not on my phone. Grade seems accurate.
Rest in Peace

The date position is a better match for 8 and I agree there is no bomb when it comes to O/CC. Nice catch!

Now if you found a new o/cc... that would be THE bomb. I've heard they're out there just waiting for us :)

They're all nice, and there is something for everyone. Every Morgan or Peace dollar is a VAM except for those belonging to srs77.

Ya, SRS has the only VAM-x in existence!

And nice pickup Ryne, I wouldn't mind owning this one! But I would be compelled to put it in a slab with a slightly different color blue if it were mine :)

Ok, so coin has arrived... VERY nice coin. So obviously it's gotta come out of the icg holder to be acceptable so, who to send it to? Dave sez PCGS and I've two other VAMS I need to do something with inc. my collared morgan. I mis-spoke in another post that I would be seeing PCGS in Houston this weekend; but I think it's ANACS that's going to be there instead. What sort of difference would that make? I've heard ANACS notes all VAMs on their holders.

Tough call. The PCGS Premium is an undeniable reality. On the other hand, the majority of VAM specialists - the ones who are in it for the varieties and not the Registry - use ANACS exclusively. ANACS' Director of Attribution, John Roberts, is a widely-respected and major player in VAMming, responsible for uncounted discoveries. No VAMmer does not respect him, and when God calls Leroy home he will be one of those who replace him.

My opinion on the matter should be pretty clear now.

Hey ryne, if you do contact messydesk about your 8tf mushroom. Crack this guy and add it with it to send to him too. He has one of my o/cc and a slew of others right now ... what dave said about John Roberts above can easily be applied to messydesk as well (except for the anacs aspect)

Well srs77, whatever you call it, it seems to be telepathically affecting my little hoard.
