I was looking over an old thread where one member showed different aspects of an 1864-L and compared it to this coin below. The last leaf is more straight than the last 1864 I posted and the curl points away from the bust, more toward the date. The bust doesn't look as round as the other. Is this an 1864-L? I am trying to get this right since I can never tell. At first glance I thought it wasn't an 1864-L.

It is a pointed bust so technically it is (or at least was) an 1864-L.

It's nice that technically it's an 1864L, but I at least like a shot at actually seeing the L.

The old thread is still there where a member pointed out different ways of telling if a coin is 1864-L with several pics. I posted this coin under there but wasn't getting any responses since it was a longer thread.

It is an 1864-L. Agreed that the L is completely worn off. Also, I see a repunched date, most noticeable on the "1".
