Hello can anyone help me out by telling me what type of error this coin is? Is this valuable? Thank you! I'm very new here so go easy on me :)

This is what is called PMD (post mint damage).
Because it was damaged after it left the mint, it's not an error. So, unfortunately, it doesn't have any value over $0.05.

Hi Nickel Guy, thank you for your reply. I thought that as well however, it's also clipped and the way the letters are formed on the coin make it look like the error was not done after the mint. I'll try for better photos if it'll help...

If it were a genuine clipped planchet, the lettering would fall off the edge, not follow around it.

Yeah the rim is still there a clip would not have a rim because that metal would be missing. All the metal is there on this coin if you weigh it , it will show its a full coin. I don't know how but someone beat this poor coin centsless. Pun intended

Sorry, but that poor coin got damaged. It looks like somebody took a hammer to it.

Keep hunting. Errors are out there waiting to be found!
