Ok for disc space I'm only using the pictures of the spot in particular if needed will get more. But the ear and hair of Washington looks doubled. I'm having a hard time getting good pictures that show the hair doubling because of the weird reflection. Anyway could this be MD ? I just have never seen centralized MD but I suppose it could happen. This variety if doubled is not listed in Double eddie.

Hard to tell from the image provided. Here is the listings for Wexler'S doubled dies, but nothing listed yet on South Carolina:

A diffuser would help eliminate the glare on your coin. That would show more what you have.

Here I did it the old fashioned way with loop and phone. But you can see it on the ear and hair on this picture

Normal . No MD no doubling. That's why I was wondering about centralized MD?

With the single squeeze process, most of the doubled dies are confined to the central area. I would try to get some better images that shows the area in question better and send one to John Wexler. The color of the last one is perfect. But the direction of the lighting shadows the areas where we might see doubling. Also just a bit closer.

Most of the time it is on the outside edge of the bust. But it does occur on the ear on cents. If you would like me to see what you have in your new images, you could email them to me? I'd be glad to see what you come up with.
