I'll take a look at that later and see if I agree with the coins in hand.

My technique for this one: Looked first through the varieties with listed clashes on the off chance I'd nail it. Sometimes works, sometimes not. It worked this time because the crack through "trust" is unique and diagnostic and the clash location was a match. Yours have more extensive cracking than the list coins.

I know it's been a long, long while - but I did end up having these graded. NGC gave them the following:

62PL, 63, 62.

Thanks for the update on the grades.

There were way too many bag marks and scratches for these to score high grades. I think I originally stated 60 to 62 and I still feel that way today. Feel very fortunate that you got a 63 on one of the coins. Sounds like the appealing toning pushed that one over the threshold and it got the 63.

Very nice coins, no matter the grades. Congrats!

The other two look MS 63.

westernsky, I agree, I was surprised at the 63 as well. For the record, my guesses before submitting them were 62pl, 62, and 61. Though, with the coin in hand, I do see the 63 - baggy though it may be, the strike is solid, and it's exceptionally lustrous.

Though they're certainly not terribly valuable, I'm very pleased with the coins, especially the matched pair of the 62 and 63.

All 3 definitely in the 62/63 range with first looking PL so I think NGC was spot on with those grades. I think any of them could make 63 on a good day.
