What To Do With Corroded Copper Pennies

So I have around 3-5 dollars in copper pennies that are corroded, years rangeing 1958 to 1996. Most of the coins arnt that bad corroded.
Should I wrap them up and take them to the bank or hold on to them, and how do I get the corrosion off them.

I will try spending them. but last time I tryed to spend pennies they didn't accept them?
or I could also experiment with chemicals If I get that bored and have free time.

Put them in rolls and take them to the bank..

I take all my detecting pennies, usually corroded to the bank, they are all forwarded back to the mint.

Ok I took them to the bank. But I need help for how to take vedigris of large pennies I just received from my pick up bank.
