Hello guys,
I wasnt very active last weeks, but I got the spirit again after my latest purchase
Thanks to an other CC-members tip, I bought an as of Claudius.
Not the cheapest purchase but it was worth it due the sharp obverse and reverse + legend

When it arrived yesterday, it looked exactly like the sellers picture, a little dry with light green patina.

So I put in in the olive oil for 5 min and now it has a very attractive, (imo) dark, green patina. An improvement I think!

Very Nice Claudius ! Certainly a VF. Anytime one can get a VF first century bronze for a reasonable price it's a good day.
The coin is provincial (hispania) but the style is pure Roman. Legends full and readable with great eye appeal.

Good buy !

Thanks Jeremy, I dont regret!
Whats next on my list..Pompeius, Brutus, Galba, Otho Vitellius are still missing in my collection. Expensive but one day I need to have one of those early Romans!

'Vito' and Galba shouldn't be too hard.
The other three ?

Good luck !

A nice 'pick-up', D.G. for all of the reasons stated, and the 'striking' is almost central, too.

Congratulations on finding a very nice coin.
