So I said to myself, SELF, buy that 22Plain Lincoln in high grade and your set will be almost all MS. I seldom take photos of coins but before this set goes back to the safe deposit vault, I took a few picks. This is my set #1 of 10 sets.

If some of the coins are difficult to see it's because I took the photos with the plastic slides still in place. Also, just lighting from sitting on top of my Bar-B-Que grill, not lite of course. However, all coins are either MS or very close to that. Time to start #11?

Of course this set was started in or about 1943 when my Dad gave me a new thing that just came out. It was a Lincoln Cent that was all Silvery looking. As a little kid I was fasinated so my Dad kept giving me more of them. Not long after I started putting my cents in a Whitman folder. Over the years as I found a better one in my set I would just move the one from set #1 to #2. Eventually I accumulated 10 completed sets. For some years now the ones moved out of set #10 have gone to 2x2's. However, a recent acquisition of both whitman and Dansco empty albums has made me wonder. Start #11? Same thing with Mercury dimes and some others. Now over 100 Whitman Albums and most complete. Of course after over 60 years of collecting, why not.
The last purchase of the high graded 22 Plain Lincoln really made that set #1 look great. I really should take the time to take a better photo of that set. Mostly without the plastic slides in place.

Carl, you owe me a new computer; I looked at your cents, and promptly drooled all over my keyboard, and now it's ruined (I'm on a laptop) Nice Set!
