Counterfeit/Fake 1928 Peace Dollar ?

I paid much more not to have an S. Several jpg's attached. Thanks in advance if anyone can help. Have you inspected the mintmark area under 10x to see if the metal shows signs of alteration there? Also, there is the limit on photo size, but you should be able to post larger pics than those. GO Moderator United States 6563 Posts	Posted 12/21/2007 08:31 am Well the coin is worth well over 10x the value of an "S" so if the area where the mint mark is looks altered then it more then likely is. take as high of quality pics as you can and crop it down to the area around the location of the mintmark Report this Post to the Staff
