These may be a common clash but I just thought this one was very strong so I thought I'd share. Enjoy Cheers, SIC

That sure is a beauty. It's the strongest one I've seen. Thanks for the great pictures.

Hi Ken, I bought three rolls of these fifteen or twenty years ago and found seven of these four with just the half-moon clash showing and three similar to this one. This one was the best of the lot.
Cheers, Bill

Are you planning on putting any on ebay. I'd like to get a crack at getting one.

I'll have to look Ken, I'm not sure if I still have any others left but I'll see what I can find. I know I gave one to a collector from my coin club but I don't remember selling the other. Now where do I start the search.
Cheers, SIC

Awesome clash. I've never seen one that strong. The 1951 commem 5¢ is a good date for varieties.

That is sweet! I have several of these but none as spectacular as this one. Nice find! This picture shows the die clash possibilities. Here is the link to most die clash possibilities. I love this link! http://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins...ities&id=105

I had shown this coin on the old CCRS site and it solicited some references to the size of ear clash that we could expect if Charles becomes King. Fellow collector BR took this a little further and gave us a general idea of what to expect much to everyone's delight . I just had to share this one. This is the obv of the coin above (doctored somewhat by BR) note the clash under the chin and the bug in the hair. Cheers, SIC
