What grade would you consider it?

VF-35. The spot in the middle brings it down a bit I would say. I'm not sure if it would qualify to "net" the coin down a bit.
One can only wonder how that spot got there.

VF-23.70926457983 IMHO, VF-25 looking at PCGS Photograde. Hey, I must be getting good at grading: I new it was VF-25 before I looked at Photograde! If it is VF-25, of course. Nice coin

The lines on the reverse in the wheat stocks almost make it look like an XF40 reverse and a VF-30 obverse.

If it wasn't for the obverse spot, I would give it EF-40.

That's one heck of a birthmark. Strong XF IMO

What a shame, that darn obverse spot really kills the eye appeal. The coin would easily go EF-40 but with details.

Thanks All. All from simply buying something for .89 and using a buck. From .11c, the dime was nothing to speak of, but ohh....quite a penny!
