Just wondering, I found this searching through all of my old 70's pennies looking for double dies etc. But this 1973 (D I pressume) has a very poor strike. Any ideas/thoughts? I really don't intend to sell it but does it have value?

1973-Penny---Error-Strike?

Thanks for any ideas/help,

Steve

To me it looks like a struck through error. (grease)

Not a high dollar coin, but always a neat thing to show to a new collector.

Thanks, that was sort of my thought on it. Just something to hang on to, and show that looking at your pocket change you can still find stuff worth keeping.

Hello, I'll get a photo of the back of it, but the back looks just like any other back, and there are no flaws that I can remember etc. I'll try and remember to post a photo of the back.

Thanks,
