Except for a couple of addresses that I am waiting on, everyone's package will go out tomorrow. Sure hope you enjoy them and that they help clear up the difference. I know it really helped me to look at them at the same time. Merry Christmas Jim I have just finished going thru about 600 1960 Lincolns. Most of these are completely trashed. I will tell their tale with pics as soon as I can get my scanner to talk to the new computer with Window Vista on it. There were about 50 1960-D small dates and I would guess somewhere between 6 and 12 are in pretty good shape. Instead of throwing them into the copper bucket I thought I would offer them up here as a learning tool. Every so often, someone asks for an explanation on how to tell the large and small dates apart and that inspired this giveaway. I will send to the first responders (exact number to be determined when I get home) a 1960-D small date and hopefully a 1960-D large date for comparison. There is no charge and I will cover the mailing costs. They have no real value to speak of but thought they could be put to better use. Anyway, I will let the winners know who they are as soon as I can count how many decent 1960-Ds small dates there are. Jim Ok everyone, through ceaton on page two is 12 requests and I have 15 small dates so everyone gets one. I can actually take three more. Everyone PM me with a mailing address and I will try and get them all out this weekend. Jim Edited by Jim1953 12/25/2007 6:32 pm

Don't count me in on this one as I think there are a lot of other deserving folk around here.
I just want to say that Jim you're a good guy. That's why I love this board. People around here are generally good to one another.

Thank you, Prethen. This board means an awful to me, too. That is why it is important, for me, to try and give back a little of what I have received. Jim

Thanks for the giveaway but don't put me in either, I already have all the 1960 small and large date coins in a holder I got from my grandfather so would like to see these go to someone that doesn't have any

I would love some for comparison! I've tried using the pictures on coppercoins.com but there's always been a bit of doubt in my mind if I'm really identifying them correctly. Thanks for your generosity Jim!!

I can't believe I'd missed out on this thread. It's always good to learn, especially while I am working on my Lincoln Album.
May be I'll have a chance?
Thanks for the offer.
